BBFC

In this lesson we watched bits from different childrens film and compared things like language to the BBFC clasifications of a U and a PG to guess what clasification the film was.
The clips we watched were:
-Harry potter
-UP
-Home alone
-Watership down

I guessed that Harry potter was a PG, UP was a U and home alone was a PG. PG is allowed mild bad language and both Home alone and Harry Potter use mild bad language. I thought Watership down was a PG because of all of the violence and it was slightly scary, it was a U. This suprised me as it had the BBFC factors of a PG and i thought that the clip that we watched would scare little children.
